Uruguay secured a 3-0 win over South Africa at the World Cup on Wednesday.
A brilliant goal by Deigo Forlan in the 24th minute put Uruguay into early lead against South Africa in the crucial Group A match. The next goal came off a penalty given to Uruguay when the South African goalkeeper Khune was shown the red card (suspended for the next match) and sent off the ground for fouling against a Uruguay striker.
Forlan took the penalty hit to make it 2-0 in the 61st minute.
The third goal for Uruguay came from Pereira from a header.{nl}
