The official opening of the European Wako (World Association of Kickboxing Organizations) championship took place here on Saturday.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport Ismayil Ismayilov said national leader Heydar Aliyev`s sport policy is being successfully continued by President of the National Olympic Committee, Head of State Ilham Aliyev. According to him, every condition for sports development was created in the country.
President of the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation, Adil Aliyev told of the government`s care for sports. He thanked international kickboxing federation`s leadership for choosing Baku as a venue for the Euro 2010.
