On May 29th the Heydar Aliyev Foundation arranged an event to mark the International Children’s Day at a summer camp of the Boarding School No1 in Shuvalan, Baku.
Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva attended the event.
Leyla and Arzu Aliyevas had a conversation with children at the tea table.
Representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Ilgar Mustafayev made a speech at the event.
He spoke of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s projects concerning children.
Ilgar Mustafayev said President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the country’s first lady Mehriban Aliyeva paid special attention to surrounding children with all kind of care.
He noted the event was part of a series of events arranged by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on the occasion of June 1, the International Children’s Day, and to mark the opening of the summer camp season.
Among those in attendance were also representatives from the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Pakistan.
Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva was presented an album of photographs on behalf of children of the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation.
The children at the Boarding School were presented gifts by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
