On December 20th Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva attended the opening of the “Mechta” Children’s Cafe in Astrakhan, as part of the events with the participation of Azerbaijan’s delegation led by the Vice-President of the Foundation.
Mrs Leyla Aliyeva and Governor of the Astrakhan Oblast Alexander Zhilkin cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the cafe.
They also presented the New Year gifts to children.
The cafe is located near the children’s campus built with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The opening of the children’s campus was held on September 12, 2012 with the participation of Mrs Leyla Aliyeva.
About seven attractions have been installed in the campus which occupies a total area of 1200 square meters. All necessary conditions have been created here to ensure safety of children.
