President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and her daughter Arzu Aliyeva have attended the opening of a new building of the kindergarten after academician Zarifa Aliyeva in Khatai, Baku.
The First Lady was informed that the building was constructed to highest standards. The kindergarten has entertainment equipment, including a summer amphitheatre, the swings, and a trampoline.
First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the kindergarten.
The President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation was told that surveillance cameras were installed in the kindergarten.
A special corner depicting academician Zarifa Aliyeva`s life and activities and projects implemented by the Foundation was created in the foyer of the building.
The facility is designed to serve children in eight groups. It includes bedrooms, a canteen, a medical room, entertainment rooms and a teachers` room. All equipment, toys and bed linen meet sanitary and hygienic standards.
The President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation was informed that the kindergarten had a swimming pool, a sports ground and other rooms for kids` entertainment. The walls of the kindergarten are decorated with pictures of heroes from tales.
