Food aid has been provided to more than 100 IDP families from Khojaly and other Azerbaijani occupied regions, which settled in "Gizilgum" ("Golden sand") sanatorium here on the holy occasion of Eid ul-Fitr.
The donation was organized by the international civil awareness campaign "Justice for Khojaly" initiated by Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva, General Coordinator of Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation and active participation of the Eurasian regional center of the OIC Youth Forum and the "Young Entrepreneurs Network" Public Union.
The food was bought at the expense of money raised from iftar donations program initiated by Eurasian regional center of the OIC Youth Forum and the "Young Entrepreneurs Network" Public Union.
Chairman of the Eurasian regional center of the OIC Youth Forum Elchin Asgarov noted that the aim of the organization of Iftar parties is to provide aid to low-income families with children.
President of the "Young Entrepreneurs Network" Public Union Khalig Ildirimzade said that together with the Eurasian regional center of the OIC Youth Forum many national charity projects will be implemented not only during the holy Ramadan, but the whole year.
"We follow the example of Leyla Aliyeva, initiator the "Young Entrepreneurs Network" Public Union," he added.
