The Spanish-language site of Huffington Post newspaper has published an article by the former Congressman from Texas, co-founder of the working group on Azerbaijan in the Congress` House of Representatives Solomon Ortiz on Azerbaijan. 
Ortiz underlines that the US hails cooperation with Azerbaijan in the global security sphere, which meets the interests of America.
The article says that Azerbaijan is a secular state, and remains faithful to the friendly relations with the US and Israel, despite it feels pressure from the neighbouring countries.
The former Congressman recalls that part of Azerbaijani territories is under occupation of Armenia.
The article also highlights the fact that according to "Wikileaks" weapons, which Armenia gave to Iran were used against American soldiers in Iraq in 2007.
