Azerbaijani first lady, president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, MP Mehriban Aliyeva inaugurated a state-of-the-art sport complex in Zira district.
The first lady was told the complex`s construction started last October. The construction was carried out by local and foreign experts under supervision of AFFA and FIFA.
The complex features sport halls, classrooms, sport facilities and a football stadium.
The complex`s first floor has chess, checkers, boxing, wrestling halls and gyms. There are also English and French language rooms, medical rooms and sanitary facilities.
The first lady viewed the English and French language rooms, coach`s rooms, gyms and wrestling halls. The president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation also viewed computer, chess and checkers rooms and the boxing hall.
The second floor houses a VIP room, a VIP tribune, a winter garden and administrative rooms.
Mehriban Aliyeva viewed the VIP room and the football stadium.
