On April 23rd Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Avigdor Lieberman visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the tomb of Azerbaijan`s national leader, founder and architect of modern Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev.
Avigdor Lieberman also put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs visited the Alley of Martyrs to lay flowers at the graves of Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country`s independence and territorial integrity. He also laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
Mr. Lieberman enjoyed a panoramic view of the capital and was informed on redevelopment works in Azerbaijan`s capital Baku.
