On April 12th Directors General of Customs in the European region of the World Customs Organization (WCO), who attending Baku conference, visited Alley of Honors here. They laid a wreath at the tomb of Azerbaijan`s national leader, founder and architect of modern Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev.
The Directors General also put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
They visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country`s independence and territorial integrity. The Directors General also laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
They enjoyed a panoramic view of the capital and were informed on redevelopment works in Azerbaijan`s capital Baku.
