As part of the celebration of the 65th anniversary of World War II Victory Day, representatives of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s Russian branch visited Azerbaijani veterans of the Great Patriotic war living in Moscow. On behalf of Leyla Aliyeva, Head of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s Office in Moscow, the veterans were presented gifts and books published by the Foundation.
Guests briefed the veterans on the main objectives, tasks and projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Veterans of the Great Patriotic War Kadriya Salimova, Abdul Huseynov, Huseyn Akhundov, Museib Aliyev, Zoya Aliyeva and Gasim Karimov expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for recognition of their services.
