La Sapienza University of Italy organized a conference supported by the Azerbaijan Embassy in Roma marking the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan`s regaining its independence.
Deputy Rector for Cooperation and International Relations of La Sapienza University, Professor Antonello Biagini opened the conference.
Professor and assistant professor of Baku State University (BSU) Jamil Hasanli and Altay Goyushov, professors of La Sapienza University Andrea Cartenì, Alessandro Vanini and Gabriele Natalizia delivered reports in the conference.
Former Italian ambassador to Azerbaijan Can Luici Maasha, Italian professors Anjelo Kianeze and Francesco Gui, who visited Azerbaijan on October this year and Italian students, attended the World Youth Festival in Azerbaijan shared views on Azerbaijan in the conference.
The conference was attended by teachers and students of La Sapienza University and other higher schools in Italy.
