Visiting Turkish delegation led by Minister of Justice Sadullah Ergin met with the Chairman of Azerbaijan`s Supreme Court Ramiz Rzayev.
Supreme Court`s Chairman said Azerbaijan-Turkey relationship entered a new stage in legal sphere and these ties expand within the framework of international organizations, as well.
Rzayev informed the Turkish Minister on judicial-legal reforms carried out in Azerbaijan and activity of Supreme Court.
Azerbaijani official pointed out the visit will contribute to development of cooperation between the two countries` relevant bodies.
For his part, the Turkish Minister congratulated Azerbaijan on election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council. He spoke of activity of Turkey`s Justice Ministry and stressed importance of continuation of cooperation between the two countries.
Following the meeting, the Turkish representatives familiarized themselves with the Supreme Court`s building and Judicial History Museum.
