Azerbaijan`s Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov is in Morocco at the invitation of Moroccan counterpart Mohamed Taieb Naciri.
First, the Azeri Minister with his accompanying delegation paid respect to King Mohammed V and King Hassan II and laid a wreath at their tombs.
Fikrat Mammadov met with Moroccan Justice Minister Mohamed Taieb Naciri.
Naciri recalled his visit to Azerbaijan in March and a meeting with Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev.
The Moroccan Minister said his country was interested in developing cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Naciri said he attaches great importance to experience exchange in the field of justice.
The Azeri Justice Minister thanked the Moroccan counterpart for hospitality.
Mammadov stressed the importance of the first interstate documents on legal cooperation signed between the two countries.
Touching upon the Nagorno-Karabakh and Southern Desert conflicts, they expressed mutual support.
The Justice Ministers congratulated each other on election of their countries as the non-permanent members of the UN Security Council.
Then, they signed a working program on application of electronic justice and new technologies and joint trainings in order to implement the agreement between the two countries` justice ministries in 2012.
Azerbaijan`s Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov also gave an interview to the Central TV of Morocco.
During the trip, the Azeri Minister met Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives Abdelwahad Radi.
Mammadov congratulated Abdelwahad Radi on election as the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
The Justice Minister praised relations between the two countries.
He also wished successes to the people of Morocco in the parliamentary elections on November 25.
Radi recalled his visit to Azerbaijan in September 2010.
He expressed satisfaction with development of interparliamentary relations between Morocco and Azerbaijan.
Fikrat Mammadov also met with President of the Supreme Court Mustapha Fares and Prosecutor General Mustafa Meddah.
Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Morocco Sabir Agabayov was present at the meetings.
