On October 27th Director of the Turkish Directorate General of Press and Information Murat Karakaya visited the Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency.
Director General Aslan Aslanov pointed out AzerTAc and Anadolu agencies actively support each other in the world`s prestigious alliances. He underlined the importance of the second media forum of Turkish-speaking countries for expansion of cooperation among these states.
He noted the cooperation agreement between AzerTAc and Anadolu agencies and intergovernmental protocol on cooperation on press and information signed during President Ilham Aliyev`s Turkey visit would contribute to expansion of relationship between the two states in the field of media.
Murat Karakaya, for his part, underscored the importance of the above-mentioned documents. He said application of new technologies opened up opportunities for rapid development of media business in both Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Present at the meeting were Executive Director of the Fund of State Support for Media Vugar Safarli.
