On October 21st the participants of the regional forum of the heads of national Olympic committees of CIS and Baltic countries visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the tomb of Heydar Aliyev, national leader of Azerbaijan.
They also put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
Then, the guests visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country`s independence and territorial integrity.
They laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
