Minister of Justice Fikrat Mammadov met Gérard Stoudman, special representative for organizational development and reforms of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe.
Mr. Mammadov updated the guest on works done to improve systems of court, justice and penitentiary in Azerbaijan and participation of the international organizations and the Council of Europe in numerous events being implemented in the country.
Mr. Stoudman praised dynamic development of the country and achievements gained in various spheres. He said the Council of Europe is keen to expand relations with Azerbaijan even more.
Implementation of the legal legislations, application of the e-services, combat with corruption was discussed at the meeting.
Head of the Council of Europe`s Baku office Konstantin Yerokostopulos participated in the meeting.
