Head of the OSCE Office in Baku Bilge Cankorel visited Public Television of Azerbaijan.
At a meeting with director general of Azerbaijan Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (ITV) Ismayil Omarov, Cankorel said OSCE Office in Baku realized a number of projects together with ITV. He expressed confidence this cooperation will further continue.
In his turn, Omarov noted OSCE paid "profound" attention to mass media especially during Mr. Cankorel`s tenure.
The ambassador gave information about his meeting with Azerbaijan`s young writers, noting they need to introduce and present their works to public discussions. "We hope ITV should organize a talk-show reflecting such problems", Cankorel added.
ITV director general noted such projects can arouse great public interest.
