Presidency of AzerTAc in BSANNA to make essential impact on efficiency of activity of the organization

"Presidency of AzerTAc in Association of the National News Agencies of member countries of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation - BSANNA will make essential impact on efficiency of activity of the organization", stated the deputy prime minister of Azerbaijan Elchin Efendiyev at the meeting on June 13 with participants of the 5th General Assembly of BSANNA hosted in Baku with organizational support of AzerTAc.{nl}

The deputy prime minister noted that carrying out in Baku of the 5th General Assembly of BSANNA is one of the significant events in political life of Azerbaijan.
Noting that in the first years of independence Azerbaijan has undergone to military aggression by Armenia, Mr. Efendiev told that during this period Azerbaijan also has appeared in information blockade. "Only after returning of national leader Heydar Aliyev to the political power the country has escaped from information blockade. AzerTAc also have certain merits in this".
Efendiev especially noted the importance of distribution last year by means of BSANNA website on wide geographical space about five thousand news on political and welfare life of Azerbaijan.
Underlining that last years the world information technology quickly develops, Elchin Efendiyev has noted that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attaches special significance to development of this sphere in the country.
Efendiyev told that presidency of AzerTAc which have carried out recently essential work in the direction of expansion of international contacts in BSANNA, will make essential impact on efficiency of activity of this organization.
General Director of the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency Maxim Minchev noted that the 5th General Assembly of BSANNA has been organized at high level, expressed confidence that results of session will bring certain contribution to expansion of links of national agencies.
General Director of Georgian agency GeoHotNews Gocha Mirtskhulava expressed to the leadership of Azerbaijan gratitude for the high organization in Baku of the 5th General Assembly of BSANNA, noting that the session will be remembered with fruitful dialogues and useful decisions.
G. Mirtskhulava underlined that presidency transfer in the organization to AzerTAc will stimulate the development of cooperation of national news agencies of the countries-participants.
Deputy General Director of Anatolian Agency Ahmet Tek thanked for warm reception, spoke about cooperation development between AzerTAc and the Agency he represent.
Noting that carrying out of the 5th General Assembly of BSANNA represents great importance for Baku, A. Tek expressed confidence that the discussions held here and the made important decisions will create wider possibilities for the future cooperation between national agencies.
Head of the department Ukrinform Yaroslav Dovgopol underlined significance of transfer of the presidency in BSANNA to AzerTAc from the point of view of achievement of important results in Association life.
Noting that relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine are at high level, Y. Dovgopol said that national agencies of two countries closely cooperate.
General Director AzerTAc Aslan Aslanov in detail informed on the work conducted by the Agency in the field of integration into world information space. He also stressed that at the Baku session of Assembly for the first time in history of BSANNA it was set up the supervising body of the structure - the Bureau. It will play important role in operatively decision-making of Association, he emphasized.
