"Heydar Aliyev is a unique personality, he is a large scale politician, he is the person who has made for the country much", said Svetlana Orlova, vice-president of the Federation Council of Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, speaking at the event in embassy of Azerbaijan in Russia, organized on the occasion of 88th anniversary of birth of Heydar Aliyev.
According to S. Orlova, that big, serious cause started by Heydar Aliyev, today marches over the world. "Azerbaijan`s 20th anniversary also is connected with his name. When I go to Azerbaijan, I cannot but surprise, how Baku changes. Also I think, just some 5 years later it will compete with Paris. And it is very touching that in many places there is Heydar Aliyev's portrait. And such impression that he didn`t go anywhere and that he lives together with Azerbaijan that he empathizes that he is today in republic. For now, there is his memory what is an important factor, and it means, the country is live, the history is live, traditions are live. Personally I will always remember the talented politician, deeply respected not only in Azerbaijan, but also in many other countries - Heydar Aliyev", Svetlana Orlova underlined.
