A delegation led by the first deputy prime minister, minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine Andrey Klyuyev visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the tomb of Heydar Aliyev, national leader of Azerbaijan, on behalf of the Ukrainian President and Prime minister. The guests also put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
The guests then visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country`s independence and territorial integrity. They also laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
