On April 19 the chief of the State Frontier Service (SFS), the commander of frontier troops, lieutenant general Elchin Guliyev has met the delegation led by the Commander-in-Chief of Land Forces of Turkey, General Erdal Ceylanoghlu.
At the meeting, the Turkish delegation was informed on the organization of system of border safety of Azerbaijan, operative conditions and existing threats, including use in the illegal purposes of uncontrollable Azerbaijani borders as a result of the Armenian occupation.
At the meeting which has passed in atmosphere of mutual understanding, the level of bilateral relations in the field of safety has been highly appreciated, and also discussed current state of and prospects for military cooperation.
