An authoritative newspaper of United Arab Emirates "Al Ittihad" published article of UAE`s Minister of Culture, Youth and Social Development, Abdurrahman Bin Muhammad Al Owais`s on World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku.
The minister highly praised Baku Forum`s importance. Quoting President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev`s opening remarks at the Forum`s opening ceremony the Minister said: "That's to say the high level of ethnic and religious tolerance in Azerbaijan is a fact and also a source of our power". The president also touched upon problems existing in the world: "Today, the world is engaged in extensive discussions on globalization, intercultural dialogue and multi-culturalism". The President assessed this as a positive thing, "because there should be a constant exchange of opinion on these issues".
Al Owais underlined that world community need to act jointly and counteract threats in the cultural sphere. He praised the Baku Forum as a perfect way to discuss how to solve cultural problems stemming from cultural diversity.
