The third World Azerbaijanis Congress is scheduled to take place here in accordance with President Ilham Aliyev`s order "on the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan`s regaining its independence".
The congress will bring together representatives of Azerbaijani Diaspora, Azerbaijani scientists, politicians, businessmen living and working abroad. In addition, noted scholars, officials, MPs and politicians are expected to join the event in order to raise world community`s awareness about the truths on Azerbaijan.
Participants will debate tasks facing the Azerbaijani Diaspora and future outlook.
The State Committee for Working with Diaspora has prepared an action plan and set up a working group for organization of the congress.
