Philosopher's Index, the most thorough index of journal literature in philosophy, US, has published summary of the works of Academician Ramiz Mehdiyev, Azerbaijani President`s Administration.
Publication of Azerbaijani scholars` works in foreign authoritative editions is one of the indices of development of science in the country. The international scientific centers report on researches and investigations reflecting significant scientific results, and thus, the world scientists have chance to get acquainted with these results.
Philosopher's Index (2010, N 4) has published summaries on Academician Ramiz Mehdiyev`s two works.
The edition presents summary of the work by Ramiz Mehdiyev "Thinking of Time and Transforming the Elite: Succession and Innovativeness", dealing with the essence of the problem lifted. The article gives scientific-theoretical analysis of modern Azerbaijan`s way of development, where democracy is the key to progress, and the significant factor of socio-political stability and dynamic development.
The questions Academician Ramiz Mehdiyev lifted in the article "On global integration and review of philosophical thought in Azerbaijan" were also focused form the point of view of world philosophy. The English summary deals with peculiarities of refusal from communist ideology and search of new doctrine instead, in the post-soviet countries and taking into consideration of the East and West philosophical thought traditions.
Next issue of Philosopher's Index is also said to publish samples from philosophical thoughts of Azerbaijan.
