This opinion is reflected in the article published in Turkey`s "Iletisim" (Journalism) magazine
Turkey-based "Iletisim" magazine of Gazi University has published a scientific research article by Director General of Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency Aslan Aslanov entitled "The process of establishment and stages of historical development of AzerTAc".
The article consists of introduction, three chapters and conclusion. The article features the 91-year old AzerTAc`s stages of historical development, re-establishment of the Agency, strengthening of its material and technical base, place and role of the organization in the globalizing information community across the world.
The author also analyzed in the article based on the fact what have been done to deliver the Azerbaijani realities to the international community.
Numerous archive materials and official documents have been used in the article. It says AzerTAc began to disseminate its first news on March 2, 1920, and long period of its historical development is associated with the name of national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.
The author highlights in the article the development process started in Azerbaijan when national leader Heydar Aliyev came to power in 1969. This process also led to great positive changes in the activity of the Agency which turned to a main source of dissemination of the news of TASS on the South Caucasus, and currently having great role in making the world community aware of Azerbaijan.
The article also states that AzerTAc, firstly in the post soviet space was equipped with the update information technologies, featuring re-establishment of the Agency during the period of independence year of Azerbaijan, orders and decrees of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev, decisions of the government on expansion of AzerTAc`s international relations, its integration into the world information community and ties with leading news agencies of the world.
The magazine with editorial board of renowned scholars from 19 authoritative universities of country also provides with summaries in English and Turkish languages.
