Azerbaijan-EU relations have developed well, EU special representative for South Caucasus Peter Semneby told a press conference over completing his tenure.
Semneby noted during his five-year term he had made a few trips to the country to discuss EU-Azerbaijan relations in a variety of fields.
He pointed out during the present trip he discussed political reforms, elections, human rights, media freedom
Semneby noted Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is important for not only region but also the EU.
Attending the event, Head of the EU delegation to Azerbaijan Roland Kobia said he shares Azerbaijani people`s sorrow over the 19th anniversary of the Khojaly massacre.
He said he supports OSCE Minsk Group`s activity and steps to continue peace talks on the Nagorno-Karabakh dispute.
