Chairman of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic`s Supreme Assembly Vasif Talibov has met with Moldovan Ambassador to Azerbaijan George Leuka.

Vasif Talibov hailed the bilateral relations between the two countries. He highlighted what has been done to ensure food and energy security in the Autonomous Republic.

Vasif Talibov pointed out to the great potential for expanding relations in economic, trade, agricultural, industrial, tourism and education areas as well as for developing mutual relations between businessmen of the two countries. The chairman of the Supreme Assembly wished the ambassador success in his diplomatic mission.

Moldovan Ambassador George Leuka thanked Vasif Talibov for the warm hospitality. He said he was aware of Nakhchivan's history and its modern development. He noted that his visit to the Autonomous Republic is important in terms of discussing cooperation opportunities between Nakhchivan and Moldova. The ambassador added that he would spare no efforts to develop the bilateral cooperation in this regard.
