"We support Azerbaijan in all areas", President of Romania Trajan Basescu stated at the press conference held in the frame of the PACE winter session together the PACE President Mevlut Chavushoglu.
The president of Romania, having concerned questions of full membership of Azerbaijan in the Council of Europe and the Azerbaijan-Romanian relations, told: "Azerbaijan is the strategic partner of Romania. We carry out cooperation in all areas. Romania is an only country which together with the states of the Black and Caspian Sea basins cooperates in various areas. If these states choose the way of integration to Europe, will wish to enter the European markets we will welcome it and give any support. We want, that these countries in the future became members of the European community".
"If to look at the geological map of Azerbaijan the country`s power resources are evident. Romania many long years cooperates with Azerbaijan and we are, of course, satisfied with such cooperation. We support Azerbaijan in all areas" - the President of Romania underlined.
