130 persons with disabilities have been sent to rest by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 50 people of them will have a rest in the recreation center located in Guba district, while 80 people in Khachmaz district.

Persons with disabilities sent by special vehicle expressed their satisfaction with important steps taken towards increasing their material security consistently and the rehabilitation measures. They expressed their gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev for attention and care that rendered to them, including creating conditions for them to rest in the picturesque corners of tour country in spring-summer season.

One of the measures envisaged in the "Program of social protection and rehabilitation of persons with disabilities and children with limited health for the year 2017" of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population is organization of leisure time of persons with disabilities. In this connection, organization of rest of more than 1100 persons with disabilities in spring-summer season of the current year was planned. 510 persons with disabilities have been already sent to rest since last month. Rest of 300 people of them has been organized in Lankaran, 160 people of them in Khachmaz, while 50 people of them in Guba district.

Social integration of persons with disabilities and children with limited health, their health protection and medical rehabilitation, involving them in physical education, sports and other measures are reflected in the mentioned Program. At present, the work is being done in this direction. Also projects for people of these categories to be provided with rehabilitation –oriented social services are being implemented on the basis of the ministry's orders.
