The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues the organization of meaningful recreation of persons with disabilities in picturesque corners of the republic.
   According to the "Program of social protection and rehabilitation of disabled and children with limited health for the year 2015" approved by the appropriate order of the ministry, 76 more people with disabilities from the mentioned category have been sent to the recreation and health center in Lankaran district. Thereby, sending 426 people to the rest, including 286 people in Lankaran district, 140 people in Shaki district have been provided by the MLSPP, in the last two months. Work in this direction will be continued throughout the summer season of current year. Thus, according to the mentioned program, a total of more than 1,000 persons with disabilities are intended to organize in Lankaran, Shaki and Khachmaz districts, during the year 2015. 
   The transportation of persons with disabilities to the recreation centers is carried out by private vehicle. The different types of sporting events, walking tours of the surrounding areas, familiarity with historical places, musical and entertaining events and etc. are organized in the recreation centers within the framework of a special program. At the same time, the persons with disabilities are involved in medical and physiotherapeutic procedures during the period of rest time.

 The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan
