Moscow will support Baku in the 64th session of PACE during the discussion of the report prepared by this Organization on political prisoners in Azerbaijan.
The statement came from Vyacheslav Fertisov, deputy chairman of Russia’s delegation to PACE in his meeting with the delegation of Azerbaijani Embassy in Moscow. Fetsiov, in particular, said: “Russia and Azerbaijan have large experience in joint activity at the international organizations and this cooperation has to be continued. The Russian delegation will back Azerbaijan during the discussion of PACE report”.
Fetisov stressed that this decision was adopted at the session of the Russian delegation to PACE on January 16.
