On December 19th Speaker of Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Ogtay Asadov met heads of parliamentary delegations of member states who are in Baku to attend GUAM`s 5th session.
Ogtay Asadov said relations between member countries have been developing not only bilaterally, but also within the organization. He added that 5th session of GUAM held in Baku would make contributions to expanding cooperation between member states. Asadov praised the fact that GUAM`s influence in the world is increasing.
GUAM Secretary General Valeri Chechelashvili thanked for the high level organization of the session. He stressed the importance of such events to achieve goals, solve problems as well as to expand cooperation.
Valeri Chechelashvili highly appreciated the achievements that the organization gained during the leadership of Azerbaijan.
The sides also exchanged views on prospects for cooperation not only among member states, but also partner countries.
