Foreign minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov met with his Austrian counterpart Michael Spindelegger on the sidelines of Salzburg Trilogy Conference.
According to the press service of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the sides noted the successful expansion of cooperation between the two countries and discussed development prospects in the spheres of economy, energy and culture.
The ministers underlined the importance of intensifying reciprocal visits for the development of interparliamentary ties.
Spindelegger invited the Azerbaijani minister to pay an official visit to Austria.
Mammadyarov noted the holding of the Azerbaijani Culture Days in Austria stressing the opening of relevant center there.
Mr. Mammadyarov also updated his counterpart on the current state of the process of negotiation on settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
