"The bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Poland are at high level", stated the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov at the press conference held on the results of the meeting with his Polish colleague Radoslaw Sikorski in Baku. 
As the minister noted, during negotiations they discussed the questions of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Poland in political, energy spheres, and also prospects of improvement of the bilateral relations in the field of trade. The minister also reported that during the meeting they discussed also the question of cancellation of visa regime for the persons having service passports.
"We are glad that Azerbaijan aspires to establish close connections with Europe", the Polish minister said. According to him, within the East Partnership program there is high potential for expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Poland. "We would like to promote the government of Azerbaijan in simplification of visa regime with EU and as a result, its cancellation. We have to use all possibilities created by existing agreements between our countries in this area", Mr. Sikorski underlined.
As the minister noted, successful bilateral political contacts promote development of the relations also in the field of trade.
Touching upon the question of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Mr. Sikorski said: "Poland is concerned with delay of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. We support territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and we do not recognize the self-proclaimed Nagorno Karabakh republic"
