“Jojug Marjanli victory became a symbol of revival for us. Every Azerbaijani citizen rejoices and is filled with pride as life is back to normal in Jojug Marjanli,” President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said at the swearing-in ceremony.

“The enemy saw the power of our military. April battles is our glorious history, a great victory of ours. The Azerbaijani army freed parts of Aghdara, Fuzuli, Jabrayil regions from occupation, we maintain control of thousands of hectares of land.”

“Life returns to normal in those territories. The Azerbaijani flag is waving in these lands, people return back. A new settlement was already built here. Our military victory shows the power of the Azerbaijani people, the unbreakable spirit of our people. It shows that the Azerbaijani people will never accept this occupation. It shows that we will free our lands. To achieve this we should become even stronger, and we will,” the head of state added.
