President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received former President of the Republic of Latvia Ms. Vaira Vike-Freiberga on April 26.
During the meeting, the sides noted that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia had been developing successfully in a variety of fields, including economy.
The parties stressed the importance of the high level reciprocal official visits in terms of expansion of the bilateral ties.
During the conversation, the sides noted the important role of the 2nd Global Shared Societies Forum to be held in Baku in the development of the cooperation between the two countries.
