On April 23rd President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors of Commerzbank AG Martin Blessing.
Martin Blessing said he paid his first visit to Azerbaijan five years ago, adding the country saw rapid economic development over this period of time. He stressed the importance of what had been done to diversify economy in Azerbaijan.
President Ilham Aliyev said the visit of Martin Blessing was a good opportunity to review the existing potential between the country and the bank, and discuss prospects for developing the cooperation. The President said Azerbaijan ensured rapid economic development in recent years, adding economic, social and infrastructure projects have been successfully carried out in the country.
They discussed prospects for expanding the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Commerzbank in the non-oil sector, particularly in supplying agricultural equipment and increasing productivity.
