On March 28th President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev accepted credentials of Kazakhstan`s new ambassador Amangeldi Jumabayev.
The Ambassador passed along a ceremonial guard of honor.
Jumabayev presented the credentials to the Azerbaijani President.
The President had a conversation with the diplomat.
Ambassador Jumabayev delivered President Nursultan Nazarbayev`s greetings to the Azerbaijani leader.
The diplomat said his country attaches great importance to expansion of relationship with Azerbaijan. He vowed to spare no efforts to contribute to strengthening Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan relationship.
President Ilham Aliyev said bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan were developing dynamically. The head of state added the two countries were close neighbors, friends and partners.
The Azerbaijani President recalled his meetings with Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev. The head of state also underscored the importance of high level reciprocal visits in terms of expansion of the relations.
According to President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan cooperation is developing successfully in various spheres, particularly political, economic, agricultural, energy, transport and education ones. The head of state also pointed out Azerbaijan attaches great importance to expansion of relations with Kazakhstan as well.
The Azerbaijani leader asked the ambassador to extend his greetings to President Nazarbayev.
