On February 28th President Ilham Aliyev inspected construction of Tufan Alpine Skiing Summer and Winter Recreation Complex as part of his Gabala visit.
The facility is located 4km from the city of Gabala.
The President toured the complex by a cable-borne elevator. The Head of State was informed of Qafqaz Resort complex which includes three hotels, a SPA center and a leisure and recreation park.
The President was told that the complex would have 10 ski slopes with the total length of 18,000 meters
The facility will serve up to 3,000 people a day.
The Head of State then was told of Golf Resort sport and leisure center to be built in the region.
President Ilham Aliyev was informed that Golf Academy and Club would also be created in Gabala.
The President stressed the necessity of carrying out the construction work in line with highest standards.
