President of Turkey Abdullah Gul was given an official welcome to Azerbaijan on August 16th.
A guard of honor was lined up for the Turkish President at the square decorated with the national flags of the two countries.
Turkish President Abdullah Gul was welcomed by Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev.
The two Presidents inspected a ceremonial Guard of Honor as an orchestra played the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Azerbaijani state and government officials were introduced to President Abdullah Gul, while members of the Turkish delegation to President Ilham Aliyev.
The presidents then posed for photographs.
