Following the official welcoming ceremony, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva had a joint meeting with visiting President of Croatia Ivo Josipovic and his spouse Tatiana Josipovic.
Then, Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Ivo Josipovic of Croatia met in private.
Both leaders expressed satisfaction with development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Croatia in a variety of fields. Good potential for strengthening the relationship was underlined at the meeting.
The importance of Croatian President Josipovic`s official visit to Azerbaijan for expanding cooperation between the two countries was highlighted at the meeting.
The meeting also discussed bilateral, regional and international issues.
