President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev inaugurated Mazimchay border check point in Balakan.
The President cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the facility, and then viewed it.
Deputy chief of the State Customs Committee Safar Mehdiyev told the President that the total area of the border check point was 4 hectares.
The facility will employ about 60 people. Some 190 cars and 500-600 travelers are inspected at the check point on a daily basis.
The President viewed a conference hall and lounge here. The Head of State also viewed an automated control system of an anti-smuggling center.

President Ilham Aliyev ended his Zagatala and Balakan visit and returned to Baku.
