On October 6th President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received participants of the 14th meeting of the Conference of Special Services of Turkic Speaking Countries.
The Head of State said:
-I am greeting you in Azerbaijan, welcome. I am very pleased that you have gathered in our country. I know that such meetings are held regularly. I am very pleased that, as I know, there is coordination of efforts and good mutual understanding among heads of special services of friendly countries and this is very important. Exchange of information, coordination on elimination of dangers and joint measures are of special importance in the modern world. Security of every country is of great importance for states. Of course, security is possible to be ensured more successfully only through joint efforts.
President Aliyev expressed confidence that mutual activity of special services of friendly countries would be successful in the joint fight against dangers in the future. The Head of State underlined the importance of joint combat against dangers of terror in the modern world. The Azerbaijani President noted coordination, exchange of information, mutual assistance and support were the main condition for successful implementation of tasks facing special services.
President Ilham Aliyev said:
-I am sure that the meeting in Baku will strengthen your relations even more. It will help strengthen peace in the region, ensure security of our citizens and stable development of our countries. I wish you successes, good work and good results.
Chief of Turkey`s National Intelligence Organization, Hakan Fidan thanked the Azerbaijani side for the excellent organization of the event. He said joint cooperation of special services was fruitful for elimination of the existing dangers in the region, adding when relations strengthen dangers grow weaker. Fidan delivered Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan`s greetings to President Ilham Aliyev.
President Aliyev, in turn, asked him to pass on his greetings to the Turkish Premier.
Chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, Nurtay Abykayev thanked for the hospitality and good organization of the event. He said all efforts were directed at eliminating dangers in the region. Abykayev also said he had seen great development in Baku since his last visit.
Abykayev conveyed Kazakh leader Nursultan Nazarbayev`s greetings to President Ilham Aliyev. The Azerbaijani leader, in turn, asked him to pass on his greetings to the Kazakh President.
The Azerbaijani President once again touched upon the fruitful cooperation among special services. He said all efforts should be mobilized to strengthen relations even more. The Head of State underscored the importance of joint activity in this issue. The President also underlined the importance of joint fight against dangers in the region.
President Aliyev once again wished successes to the 14th meeting of the Conference of Special Services of Turkic Speaking Countries.
