President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the Kazan Helicopter Plant.
The Head of State was accompanied by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the plant opened in 1940. The facility is one of the largest helicopter manufacturers in the world. Its products include the Mil Mi-8 and Mil Mi-17 helicopters. It is the only producer of the military version of Mi-17 helicopter. The facility also produces Mil Mi-38 helicopters.

President Ilham Aliyev was presented with models of Mi-17 helicopter and Kamaz.
