President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with President of Iveco France, Head of Iveco Global Bus Sylvain Blaise in Paris.

President Ilham Aliyev hailed the fact that IVECO France’s environmentally friendly buses are successfully operating in the city of Baku, emphasizing the role of these buses in developing the city's transport infrastructure. The head of state said that thanks to IVECO buses, many public transport-related problems in Baku were resolved.

President of Iveco France, Head of Iveco Global Bus Sylvain Blaise emphasized that Baku is the leading city of the region in terms of transport infrastructure. He noted that bus depots in Baku are organized in accordance with international standards. Sylvain Blaise said he hopes that Iveco buses play a key role in modernizing public transport infrastructure in Baku and that the company`s other machinery play a leading role in the field of agriculture.
