President Ilham Aliyev opened the new building of the Samukh Local Authorities on Wednesday.
Construction of the new two-storey building began in 2009 and was completed in 2010.
A bust to national leader Heydar Aliyev was mounted in the foyer. There is also a photo stand featuring the activity of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The building houses meeting rooms, waiting rooms, offices.
President Ilham Aliyev was also informed about the State Flag square created in the neighborhood.
The 36-meter flagpole was erected in the center of the square with a total area of 8,700 sq. meters.
