A Heart Center has today opened under the Republican Treatment and Diagnostic Center in Baku.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony.

The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the center.

President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva viewed conditions created at the center.

Minister of Health Ogtay Shiraliyev informed head of state Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva about the center. The 100-bed center occupies a total area of 13,000 square metres. The construction of the center started in early 2015.

The center aims to introduce high quality services of prophylaxis, diagnostics and treatment of heart diseases.

The head of state and the first vice-president met with staff of the center.
