President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev telephoned to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on December 24th to congratulate the Azerbaijani counterpart on his birthday and wish him new successes and good health during the presidency.
President Ilham Aliyev thanked Dmitry Medvedev for congratulations.
The Heads of State described development of bilateral relations between the two countries in 2010 as successful and expressed assurance that relationship would continue to expand.
Russian President Medvedev also sent a letter of felicitation to President Ilham Aliyev on December 18.
