On February 3rd, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his wife, chairperson of the Baku 2015 First European Games Organizing Committee Mehriban Aliyeva reviewed the ongoing work at a bus depot and a training center of Bakubus LLC for the First European Games.

Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov informed the head of state about the work carried out here.

The landscaping and reconstruction work has been carried out in 16-hectare area of the site from last year`s September. The training center for drivers is being established in six-hectare area. An administrative building and four service buildings will occupy an area of nine hectares. There will be a filling station, a repair and technical checkupbuilding, leisure rooms for workers and employees. The project will be completed by the end of February.

Bakubus LLC will employ nearly 900 people, including 650 drivers.

Then Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev briefed President Ilham Aliyev on the work carried out as part of a project on the complex restoration of Zigh Lake.

President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva also viewed Mercedes minibuses bought in order to carry VIP guests who will attend the first European Games.

President Ilham Aliyev was also informed about new IVECO buses of Bakubus LLC. It was noted that at the initial stage 302 French-made buses have been bought. A card payment system will be applied in the new buses. Cameras were installed inside the buses.

President Ilham Aliyev gave relevant instructions and recommendations.
